There is no doubt about it… when it comes to electronic devices and homemade devices; I would choose homemade devices every time! The reason behind this is simple: homemade food is always better! I remember my great grandmother’s cooking being the best tasting food growing up, but it wasn’t until my mother sat me down and told me why that was the case that I started understand… homemade food is the best food ever! There is only one issue with this logic: homemade food takes time to make! Juicing fruits and veggies used to take hours, but with an electric juicer, well, why don’t you just continue reading.
My great grandmother used to make my brother and me fresh juice squeezed from oranges she purchased at the market. The juice she served has never been topped, I don’t care what anybody says! It wasn’t until I was a bit older and my grandmother stopped making us fresh orange juice that she told me how long it took to make. Her hands started hurting her more often than not, so she “decided to give in and go into retirement.” After that, I started running from store to store to find the same tools she used to make our juice, and the only thing I found was electric juicer mixers, blenders and recipes. So, I gave it a shot!
I brought home an electric juicer and found that, as a result of its High Performance Juice Extraction system, I was able to make fresh juice for me and my brother, who wanted to try it with me, in the matter of minutes. Five minutes after placing three oranges in the chute, we had fresh orange juice, enough to fill two small glasses each! Five minutes! Our grandmother used to start juicing her oranges an hour before we got out of bed, and she was still working on it for a few minutes as we waited impatiently at the kitchen table. We were impressed with the time element, but what really impressed us was the pulp extraction.
The kitchen counter was usual a gigantic mess when our grandmother was done with her homemade juicing efforts. The reason behind had nothing to do with our grandmother being a messy person! Juice flies out of the orange while it is being squeezed! But with our new electric juicer, the Micro Mesh filtration system did the work for us, even extracting all of the juice from the pulp, just like we were used to.
We presented a glass of our own “homemade juice” to our grandmother and waited for her reaction. When she heard that we made it from an electric juicer, she stood up and waved her hands in the air, saying, “Where have you been all my life!”

After spending more money that I would ever like to admit, I was finally able to find a masticating juicer that truly lived up to its functional name! You see, there are many brands of masticating juicer models in this crazy world of ours, and when you are faced with hundreds of different models, all of which have been claimed to offer the very same service… “Exceptional,” it starts to get a little confusing. That said, I have decided to write this article in the hope that others may benefit from my personal experience, that is, that others may not have to spend the amount of money that I did in order to discover the real McCoy!
My first masticating juicer purchase was an off brands designed by a friend of mine locally. When I heard the words “masticating juicer” I automatically believed that it would completely tear apart all of the fruits and veggies to an unrecognizable pulp! When I first started using it, I quickly noticed that the majority of the pulp being extracted from my fruits was saturated with left over juice, irritating that part of my conscience that hates wasting precious food. As soon as I was able to return my masticating juicer to my friend and kindly thank him for the “opportunity” to test his new model, I quickly rushed to the store in hopes of getting something that actually worked!
I then purchased a Waring masticating juicer from a local retailer and found my next juicing experience a little more than I expected. Granted, the only thing that I had more of was white noise! The masticating juicer worked perfectly, but it got to the point that my dog even hated being near the kitchen after I turned my juicer on. Naturally, as you can tell from my personal experiences, I am an extremely picky consumer, and as I should be. If we are going to be spending money on these products, then we should get everything that the manufacturer promises us! I had to go through three more models before I found my everlasting hope!
Power Juicer! Power Juicer’s masticating juicer model was made with Micro Mesh filters, stainless steel extraction blades, and a patented Juice Extraction System, which actually lived up to its hype (extracting up to 30% more juice per fruit). This made me extremely happy and found that the masticating juicer that really works is the juice fully equipped with the following features: stainless steel juice extraction blades, stainless steel micro mesh pulp filtration system, High Performance internal motor (3,600 rpm).
I am truly sorry if my article seemed a little more passionate and “grumpy” than you would have liked. Losing money and being lied to are two lf my biggest pet peeves in life, and while on my masticating juicer search, both happened on a regular basis. Please, take my personal experiences and benefit from them!

I know the title has the potential to throw people off, but have you considered just how powerful the more modern juicer machine really is?! They have the potential of completely taking over all of the prepping, cutting and fruit ingesting concerns all of the previous juicer machine generations gave us! Just when you thought that our kitchen appliances couldn’t get any better, the juicer machine market brought a whole new slew of features and promotions to the table, making it an even bigger endeavor in finding the juicer machine that truly can do it all!
Did you know that the more common juicer machine currently on the market actually offers anywhere between an 80 watt motor and a 1000 watt motor? That is intense! One might think that the 1000 watt motor would be the no-brainer purchase, but after using an 80 watt motor and seeing the results, the technology behind the juice extraction systems is simply astounding! For example, did you know that through an 80 watt motor, you actually get far less froth or foam within the final product? Froth has been a huge concern of mine for years, and, in all actuality, the fact that I was never able to use a juicer machine within creating a ton of froth afterwards was mainly responsible for my three to four year hiatus from juicing at home!
Pulp filtration systems have greatly increased in efficiency lately, as well. Did you know that the pulp being extracted can be extracted to such an extent that it is actually DRY!? Completely dry and able to be cleaned, stored or refrigerated for later use. Why, one of the children recently called me and told me about how his juicer machine provided dry pulp after every use and, as a result, he started making fruit smoothies out of his juice derived fruity remains. This was amazing to me, to think that his juicer machine was able to provide a pulp extraction / filtration system that could even extract all of the juice from the pulp / seeds that landed into the Micro Mesh filters. That is truly remarkable!
I understand that my over enthusiastic comments about juicer machine technology seems to be going through the roof with amazement, it is just I have never seen a kitchen appliance capable for doing all of these things at once! Especially not the next feature I am going to mention.
The feeding chute that has been built on the roof of the juicer machine has been remodeled and expanded to around 3 inches in width. That is truly amazing! And because of the stainless steel juice extraction blade, it is extremely safe to put whole fruits and veggies into these chutes and trust that the filtration system will pick up all of the pulp and seeds found within the whole fruits and veggies. Knowing that this was possible motivated me to get back into juicing, since it was the prep that quickly slowed me down all those years ago.

This is just one of those products that offer so many different features per brand and model; to ask which one is the best juicer is going to largely depend on what you are looking for. That being said, however, there are certain features that some critics would say that no juicing family should do without! That is the purpose of this article, to describe in detail what some of the best juicer features do, and, more importantly, which of these features can you really live without.
Many of the customer reviews concerning the best juicer products on the internet have been written either by the companies themselves, or salesman that desire to make a pretty penny off of your hard earned paychecks. All of the best juicer product lines on the market offer the same features, but only a few of them can meet the desired consistency you are looking for. For example, if you purchase a juicer that has a 1000 watt internal motor, you are going to get a different consistency than if you were to purchase a juicer with a 80 watt internal motor. However, both motors provide excellent service, that is, when they are in conjunction with the structure of their own individual model.
Internal motors are extremely important when it comes to juice consistency. The best juicer would allow you to have an adjustable setting interface, lessening or increasing the output of energy to the juice extraction blades. Reducing the motor out put to 80 watts greatly reduces the froth produced by the extraction process and, in all actuality, offers a much smoother seed / pulp extraction as well. There are some models that come with an 80 watt motor, and then there are some models that come with a 1000 watt motor, and everything in between, so it is going to matter greatly on what your desired consistency is going to be.
The filtration system regarding both the seed and pulp extractions is going to be one of the more important features that will make a good juicer the best juicer for you. Whether or not the filtration system is made from a mere plastic compound or a Micro Mesh, stainless steel material is going to make a huge difference. For example, if the best juicer offers DRY pulp for future smoothie efforts, then a stainless steel Micro Mesh filtration system is going to better meet your needs than a mere plastic model.
All of this to say, you really have to understand which features are currently being offered and, once you have compiled your list, figure out which models will offer the said features that will lead your juicing experience down the path you desire to take. By visiting any number of open forums online you will be able to locate the best juicer for your needs!
